OT: I am so upset over the whole AIG exec bonus issue..
Just wanted to vent....
I am so F!#&ing P!**@# off over the whole 'AIG exec's taking their bonuses' issue that I am *seriously* considering cancelling my insurance policy with them and going to a company that I perceive to be "more morale".... like State Farm or something.
Don't get me wrong....I might be one of the few that whole heartly supports sizable salary and bonues for corporate execs BUT ONLY if the organization, under their leadership, excels and profits (or, at least, holds their own relative to similar companys). But with $62 BILLION in losses....come one, you cannot justify using the money *we the people* gave them to pay out bonuses. THIS IS CRIMINAL!! TO THE POINT OF TREASON!!!
OK...that's my vent. I'll save this pent up energy/anger and take it out at the gym during my workout this afternoon...

actully its on my agenda today to shop around for another insurance company. I will not give my heard earned dollars to AIG or any company that gives hefty salaries and bonuses to execs under such cir****tances. For crying out loud, take a bailout and give it to the higher ups...whats wrong with this picture?>??
I wholeheartedly agree! And I am so glad to see the mounting public outrage at what they're doing! I have Geico, which is a Berkshire Hathaway company, but at this point I have no problem supporting Warren Buffett. At least he's trying to do some good in the world, with his support of the Gates Foundation and all. I had almost switched to AIG when they came to NJ a couple years ago -- now I'm glad I didn't! This whole mess also makes me glad that I work for a non-profit, even though the foundation that bankrolls us was founded by a certain famous robber-baron who totally exploited the Irish. Ugh! Must go think Happy Thoughts now... :)
