trying to take a few before pics
Ok third time is the charm, right? I wanted to post a few before pics and I have had to educate myself hopefully this time I passed the test.

ok this time it worked. I have two more days and this is one of those loose ends, I want to take my measurements too. So many people have said that when the scale stops moving sometimes you can still see a loss in your measurements. And it is fun to add up how many inches you have lost. I can't wait. This board has been such an inspiration and education to me, I just wanted to thank all of you again. Belinda

Good job on the pics! You and Heather G with your big babies - they're huge!! The pics are great, tho, and you're doing an awesome job.
Yes, take your measurements - that was one thing I didn't do and I sort of regret it now - I do know as of right now I went from a size 4X or 32 down to an XL (or 1X, depending) and size 18 pants - my shoe size went from a 10WW to a 9W or regular - I've dropped 2 full ring sizes and have been able to have 1" taken out of all my bracelets. I even need to have my necklaces shortened because they're too long now! Oh, bra size 48DD to 42D - all these are good and wonderful things. But having the actual measurements would be better, so yes, take them - don't keep putting it off or you'll never do it.
Continued success to you!! Kathy

No, I'm not a perv but might I recommend you take a couple pics naked; you can't fake them! They can prove to be helpful later on when you get plastics too. I had hubby take them the night before my surgery on the suggestion of someone further out than I and boy was that a good one. I was nervous and second-guessing but when I saw myself naked I couldn't wait to get on that table. Pictures, measurements and the fat clothes you wear to the hospital; excellent backups for when you are on a stall or out 2+ years and need a reminder of where you came from. Good Luck on your new journey!

1 choice @ a time > 1 day @ a time. Slow to Succeed is still Success ;-)
one...why is it that our dogs seem to think its a good idea to get their butts in our pictures?? LOL
two...i have a black one and a brown one too!
three...like jackie said, take naked pictures. I took them and I am glad I did....they are real eye openers and great to look back on to see really how far you have gone.
four...yep, take measurements for those times the scale doesn't move.
five...if i understand correctly...you are having surgery on Friday. Me too....the first round of my plastics. So, we will be in the OR together....so its going to be a great day!!
six...good luck
HG!

Great job on the pics. I am only 13 days out and i already regret not taking pics the day before surgery. The best that I got was one week after. I didnt do the naked pics, but i pulled my t-shirt up and shot front/back/side views of my belly (where i carry my fluff).
I also regret not taking measurements. I meant to do it the night before, but got too sidetracked. Last measurements I have are from a year ago, when i started at curves. I guess they will have to do.
The clock is ticking...i am getting excited for you!!!

ps. love the dogie butts

Those are GREAT pictures, Belinda! I know they will come in handy in future months!
I'm soooooo glad to hear you talk about taking your measurments!! They definately saved my sanity a few times down the road!
Not that you asked for my opinion, lol, but here's what I measured:
Neck
Boobs (widest part)
Right below the boobs (basically your band size for a bra)
Both bicep areas
Waist
Hips
Both mid thigh areas
Both calves
Things I WISH I would have measured:
Forearms
Wrists (yes, wrists. I now have bracelets and watches that I can't wear)
Ankles (same thing - I have anklets I cannot wear)
Good luck!!
