OT: Facebook

Hi all - I know tons of us are on Facebook now - I don't go on a lot but was checking on and off thru-out the day. Monday when I went to open the site and sign on it took me thru my company security website first, and I had to enter all my company log-ons and passwords before I could get to FB, so that tells me they can monitor how often I go onto that site, etc. So, from now on I will only be hitting the FB site at night and on weekends - with times they way they are right now I don't need 'big brother' spying on my and thinking I'm not doing enough work!

Doesn't happen with this site or any others, but tried it a couple of times Monday for Facebook and it always took me thru the company site first.

My work already has Facebook, Myspace, twitter and many other social networking sites blocked. You can't even bother! LOL. But that's ok.........I can still check in here.

It's probably better I can't get on Facebook at work!

..would you believe at a former company I worked for (before facebook and twitter gained in popularity) YAHOO MAIL was blocked (but gmail was not)!!

My hotnail is blocked, too - for a very short time I was able to access it from here but not any more.

 wow, that's amazing that employers are blocking fb.
