First day at new job

Hi every one I started a new job working for the state of NJ and survived.  Wow it feels so good to be back in the working world around people and all of that. Now if I can figure what the heck I am doing it would be great.  I was so used to my old job going in and knowing what to do and how to do it.  I know it will take time and another good thing is I have to bring my own lunch and drinks because they have a small lunch room with lots of junk food vending machines which I am not interested in.  I looked at the tastycakes and wasn't even fazed by them.  Used to kill for a peanut butter tandy cake but now I am not even thinking about it . I have worked too hard to mess this up. I feel like my life is starting to come back together between my weight loss and going back to work. First paycheck goes to a new pair of uggs!  Yay we all have to be good to ourselves.

Glad today went well. You will catch on. I am sure it's great to have a new beginning.

And you will LOVE your Uggs. I  Uggs! They are so freaking comfortable, warm and cozy. I wear them all the time. I definately think they are worth the money! I want more colors! LOL

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Congrats on the new job....especially in this economy.  You'll do great.  Just give yourself time to get used to the new surroundings and new responsibilities.

All new jobs take quite a bit of getting used to.  You'll get there.

Oh - and Jo is right - uggs are GREAT!
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
