Stupid Question..
Okay this is going to sound so stupid and I can't believe I am posting about this but I have been at my goal weight for about a month now and I just lost another 5 pounds. HELP!!! I don't want to lose more weight my husband calls me anorexic. My parents are concerned about me and my size 6 pants are now official sliding off me. I just bought them 2 weeks ago. I don't want to give up exercising as I know me and will eat and eat and not want to go back to the gym.
Any advise if appreciated and again please don't take this post the wrong way but I know a few of us here has had this happen and don't want to lose more weight. Should I be calling the Nuts at Barix for their advise?? I am going to be at the Wednesday's meeting but just thought I pose this question here first.
Thanks for listeninig..

Of course those of us who aren't at goal and are stalled or have slowed down are going to be envious of you!! But that's okay - we'll get there. Yes, I would definitely call the Nuts and ask them what you should do - most likely try to boost your caloric intake a little so you level off and stop losing and start maintaining.
I wouldn't give up exercising - that's way too easy a habit to fall into and you'll need to keep doing it to maintain. Maybe add a good protein shake to your daily diet or protein bars? I'm sure the nuts will give you good advice - maybe have you log your food for a few days or weeks to see how many calories you're taking in.
I haven't seen my mother in almost 3 months and she's so afraid I won't be able to stop losing - I think its a fear a lot of family members have for us, but you know your body better than anybody, and I'm sure you can get this under control and stay at the weight you want to be.

You're not doing anything wrong - sounds like you have a very healthy diet and that's great. It probably just needs some tweaking so you know where your protein and calories are so you can maintain your best weight - and it never hurts to give yourself a little wiggle room with the pounds. Obviously you don't want to keep losing - especially at that rate - but I think the nuts can go over your baisc daily menu plan and advise you where you can bump up some protein or calories so you start leveling off on your weight loss. Just don't push your pouch too much to start - we all know how prissy they can become when angered!! ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/barf.gif)
Keep us posted on what the nuts tell you - might even be worth a visit in to sit and talk to one of them and Dr P, just for peace of mind...

Don't give up exercising silly, you just haven't found your equilibrium. You have to adjust your exercise and eating for your body to maintain, you can't do the same things that you did to lose, this is a different phase of your life that you are in now. Just like you had to adjust your food and exercise to begin and continue losing weight, you have to do the same to stop losing.

I had the same thing happen. But after a little time, I gained a littled and then found a steady weight. My doc told me it's common to dip down a little lower than what you will stableize at.
Besides, you know what your goal is, but your body doesn't, so it's not going to magically stop losing when you have reached your goal weight.
The Nuts will have some great advice for you I am sure. I just stayed doing everything the same and let my body handle it, itself. But That was a long time ago too.........

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
I agree with everyone else - call the Nuts and see what they say. But my guess will be to up your calories a bit, add in some good carbs maybe (whole grains etc) and higher fat items (if you use fat free go to low fat etc) I am not at this point yet (darn! lol) but I am sure that it is tough - none of us have ever had to worry about gaining - that part always came naturally! lol
good luck!

Well because I'm not to lose weight (or gain) right now since I'm pregnant they told me to use 2% milk and reg fat cheese... so maybe just changing those little things will help even things out... if that doesn't work maybe add 1 carb serving extra to your diet on the days you work out... try that for 2 weeks and see what happens... I have another friend that is doing this and she gained back the 10 she lost past goal mark but she is now staying at her goal wieght now...
