I've been approved

Now it's onward to one more visit with my surgeon and I get a date.  NOW I am scared - it didn't seem real before!

CONGRATS!!!!!  This time will fly by and before you know it you will be on the losers bench.  I am only 11 days post op and it still seems a little surreal.

Are you having your surgery done at Sewickley Hospital?  If you need anything I live really close by, just drop me a note.

Congrats!!!! When is your surgery date?  Don't worry you will be fine?  You might seem nervous now but the day gets closer you will be excited. I'm 2 months out and I have no regrets.  Congratualtions again.

Congratulations!  I think the "scared" part is very normal.  I was both exhilarated when I got my approval in Nov 2008 -- and a bit uneasy about the whole thing.  I just kept reminding myself why I was pursuing the surgery -- to improve my health.  Just putting the surgery back into perspective helped me to move forward with all the pre-op testing, dieting before the surgery, and getting to the point of going into surgery.  I'm wishing much wisdom and peace with your decision. roger

Hang in there - there's a TON of emotions that go along with this ride.  The nervous part is to be expected - but you'll get through it!!  And come on over here anytime you need to and this board of wonderful people will help you through anything and everything!!
