Okay everybody get your minds out of the gutter!  I spend 9 hours today cleaning up the yard and still  not done.  What a mess!  I am so glad that I am able to do this.  If you would have told me last year that I could do this I would have laughed.  It was the first nice day in a long time and I thought well let me get out there and clear up all of the stuff from winter. Oh am I going to be so sore tomorrow but its a good sore. I filled up 8 lawn bags and feel like I accomplished alot. I am woman hear me roar! I figured since I am going back to work starting a new job on monday let me make a dent on the yard.  I have been here for 7 years and now know what to plant and not to plant by trial and error. Anyone who wants some gardening info on what not to do here I am. Now if only I can start riding again after my shoulder surgery I would be the happiest clam in the ocean.

Sounds like you had a very productive day! It's always nice to sit back and know you got stuff accomplished.

Also good luck with your new job!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

We can be sore together after all the up and down and painting and moving things I've been doing the past 24 hours.

You're right - it is a GOOD sore!  Enjoy your yard!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Linda,

It's a great feeling to have that good kind of sore isn't it?  Right now my yard looks like a war zone.  Hubby decided this week to trim the big maple tree in the front yard.  Mercy the mess.  He has it all in piles at the moment to load up to take to his buddys to farm to discard.  The poor birds and squirls are all beside themselves as to where to hide now.  LOL.

Good luck at your new job on Monday!
