Jeans with a zipper and buttons!!!

Hi Everyone!

I am wearing jeans.  la la la la !  :=)   

They are Clinton Kelly jeans so I guess I don't have to be nominated for the "What's Not to Wear" show anymore. lol

I bought them about 2 weeks ago and I haven't worn them.  I just look at them in the closet.  I tried them on before I purchased them so I knew they fit.  But it seemed to me to be someone else's clothes hanging in my closet.  I was afraid I couldn’t' wear them become my stomach has always been very sensitive when it comes to things cutting into my mid section.  I've never worn real jeans.  I've worn the stretchy, elastic waiste band jeans but I've never worn, zipper, button REAL jean material jeans. 

Today I bit the bullet.  I put them on and kept them on.  I am at work and I still have them on.  I brought another pair of pants just in case but I have these on.  I had to go to a friend's desk and ask her if they fit right or if they look stupid on me.  I have to roll the pant legs up because I have little short mrs. potato head legs. 

But, I am wearing jeans!  la la la la. 

My 2 year surgiversary is on April 5th and it has been some journey.   What a different world my life is now.   But, I think I'll write about my last 2 years later.  I just wanted to share and do a little jean dance with you all this morning!  The size 7X, dying woman 2 years later is wearing a pair of jeans and dancing with you! lol

I am sooooooo happy for you!!! I'm also wearing jeans with a button and zipper - something I thought was off my clothing list forever a year ago - and like you I was almost afraid to try them on because even thru Lane Bryant or Roamans I could never wear the jeans that buttoned and zipped - I always had the stretchy waist band kind too.

Sounds like you've had a fantastic journey - I am so happy for you!! Enjoy the jeans and trust me, now that you've worn them you'll never go back to the other ones!

ps: I've been finding great jeans at TJ Maxx and Marshalls for $10 to $12 and I love them!

WOOO HOOO !!!! That is great. I am sure all of us can understand the "I am wearing real honest to God jeans" dance. And we are all celebrating for you!

Aren't real jeans the BEST?!?!  That's awesome G!  I think we  need to go out and celebrate....want to see what Jackie is doing and do one of our brunches?

Okay what are Clinton Kelly jeans and where to you buy them?  And of course yipeee to your wonderful sucess.  Thats great!  I am happy for you. Sometimes I do look in my closet and wonder who the clothes belong to also.  I used to wear the fashion bug jeans with elastic and was so glad to toss them. That is really terriffic.  Keep up the good work.  Jeans today thong underwear next. I don't know if I would be that brave. Look for the petite sizes for the length.  Macys has them but I only buy them on sale.
