Blogs Posts are Important

I have had a few people recently tell me that they have read my profile from start to finish blog posts included and that they found it helpful and thanked me for it. My first reaction was, what boring reading. My second was curiosity about what the heck I have written and what they read. So I had some time and went back and read my posts start to finish. What a trip that was!!! I am so thankful I posted, and I am going to try and do better about posting now as well. It was good for me to read it, it shows how far I have come, and how somethings just stay the same.
If you have some spare time I recommend you read your blog posts too, and I recommend that we all post when we can because there are others *****ally do benefit from our words and account of this journey.

One of the things that has not changed?  The anxiety that I have about what to eat and the fact that I don't always make the right choice. Oh yea and the fact that  I am still overly concerned with Poo.

One of the things that has changed? I am no longer afraid to live my life mistakes and all.

Nicole - I never did blog about my journey but sometimes wish that I did! I had all of my weights and measurements on a calendar from my first year and I'll be damned if I can find it now! I hope that it didn't get thrown away when we moved! I still have boxes to go through upstairs - hope that I can find it!

Congrats on an amazing journey!

I have found that I too am more willing to "live" life to it's fullest! I am also finding that I have a tougher skin - I can take a lot more pressure and not crack.

LOL I too think an awful lot about poo. I was just sitting here actually having to think about when I went last and if I needed a peri-colace! lol funny to think also how open we are about bodily functions now!

Keep up the great work!

I haven't updated my blog regularly for quite some time.  I will have to go back to read mine...and then add an update!

I will do that, Nic...good idea.  I don't usually take the time to write on my blog, but I do cut and paste some of my PA board posts in there.  I will have to do that more often and keep better track of my journey.

I've been writing in mine since the beginning.  I figure if no one else reads it.....thats fine.  It's nice to get my feelings, fears..etc..out there.

I've also tell people that are using the same dr as me to go through the posts to get an idea of what to expect.

Either way I am very glad I did it.   I can't believe how far I've come.  I remember writing that first post and thinking....... Will I ever get my surgery?  It seemed like a forever away.
