****Monday Roll Call****
I am SURPRISINGLY chipper this morning for no apparant reason. Hee hee hee :)
So - what's on your Monday morning plans, HMMM????
We are having a "salad" party at work tonight so I need to stop at the store and pick up some things - I think I will make a chicken caesar or something to that effect.
Then it will be home for the ever fun task of litter boxes...I have towels to put away....and then hopefully to bed
Exciting stuff I tell you!!
Have a great day!

I actually made it work in time. Despite Riley puking on herself about 2 minutes from my SIL house to drop her off this morning. so I got her in the house, undressed and cleaned up. thankfully she stays with family and they were more than happy to throw her clothes in the wash, and put her in the tub.
I would have loved nothing more than to just call in, take Riley home and take care of her. But my boss called very early to let me know her grandmother passed away last night. So she has alot on her plate. And 2 of us cannot be off. Not enough coverage. So thankfully Riley is with family that will take care of her till I get off today.
So other than all that already this morning, I am hoping it will be a good day. I do have to go for my bi-weekly NST right after work and then I can head home. Hopefully Jantzen cooperates and moves alot so I only have to stay there the minimum 20-30 minutes. but last thursday he decided to "rest" and I laid ther over an hour trying to get his butt moving!
Hope everyone has a great day!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
Good DARK morning everyone - it was nice coming to work in the daylight but I know I"ll appreciate it more at night when I can walk the dog again. And the warmer weather is definitely helping my attitude these days! Wonderful seeing all that miserable snow melting away.
Not much on my agenda today - work - home - dinner - walk - maybe work-out. Got all my laundry and cleaning done over the weekend. Our HOA is having a wine & cheese party and if want tickets we have to get them tonight, so I do want to remember to do that. Maybe I'll walk the dog down there to get the tickets at the clubhouse - that's a good walk.
Hope everyone has a great day.

I am up and today I am not feeling very hopeful, after checking out job postings yesterday the reality of the situation is even worse than I already anticipated, but I guess this is where I have to start making plans for my days, like getting back into the gym and such other things. I have so many projects that will keep me busy, but with the house stuff still lingering, I am not ready to begin any of those projects. My son, however well meaning he is, did not make me feel any better yesterday when he said things to me that were "committee" kind of thoughts, in other words, negative. This too shall pass, but to be honest, right now I am feeling rather stuck in a situation where I have no control, I shall turn this around to my advantage. . .
Plan for today is once my fedex boxes arrive, get out to the gym and then go through closets and drawers and purge of things I will not be moving into my new space once it is completed.
Have a great day everyone!
Hugs, prayers and well, I'm working on the positive thoughts part of things, Laureen

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

Anyway I digress. Today has me at work then home to straighten up a bit, put some towels away, hang up some clothes, make dinner, and lunch for tomorrow and get my butt to bed early.
have a great day all!
