Hunger Question
True physical hunger doesn't come back for a bit - some 8 mos some a year...it varies. When they cut your stomach they cut through a bunch of nerves and what not so that is one reason and also those nerves help produce gherlin which is an enzyme or something to that effect which makes you feel hungry.
Head hunger...well that's a whole other story. I *wanted* things even though I wasn't physically hungry. I remember 4 days post op drooling over my husbands pizza, when I physically was having trouble eating 4 ounces of sf ff yogurt. Yea - a bite of that pizza would've killed me, but oh how I wanted some!
So yes, it's normal - and enjoy it while it lasts!! The hunger comes back and so do the battles!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses. ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/thumbsup2.gif)
