Hi Pam,
Gene is able to eat Hodgson's Mills whole wheat or whole wheat & flax seed pasta or the Barilla.

I bought Dreamfields but haven't tried it yet.  I went to the website and downloaded a $1 off coupon.

Hi Pam,
it is DREAMFIELDS that i use. I have tried them all and this is the closest thing  to regular pasta in taste. when the water boils I put the pasta in the post & then I set the timer for 20minutes so the pasta blows up in the boiling water and not in our pouch, It doesn;t get pastey like regular pasta also if you eat Linguini  or spaghetti cut it up or chew it very good. I got the foamies from not chewing thr linguini very well so now I just cut it up like you would for a small child and I have no problem,

Personally, I've taken a liking to HGs spaghetti squash instead of spaghetti itself.   My pouch has no probs with Classico sauces which are the least in sugar (the tomato basil, traditional tomato or the 4 cheese alfredo).  I don't use alot of the sauce on it but I never have a prob.   Alfredo w/jumbo shrimp....YUMSTERS!!  BTW, Just made REAL tomato gravy for VD day for the family; I KNEW I didn't add sugar, though I did use paste and that has tom. concentrate and bought homemade pasta too.   I DUMPED.   Guess it was the concentrate.  It hits fast and hard.

Thanks Jackie.

I will try the spaghetti squash one night for myself....but hubby doesn't eat anything that grows (except corn, carrots, lettuce) and I want somethng we can both have.  He doesn't eat veggies....I try to not eat pasta...so we haven't had a "nice almost italian dinner" in, let's see....over 16 mos, lol

I say "almost italian" dinner only cause I know I am not an old fashioned italian grandmother type cook.
