Upmc Magee

I went and had surgery there with Dr McCloskey.  I also have UPMC inurance.  I really liked both the doctor and the care at the hospital.  The worst thing that happened with me was that they had problems with the surgery before mine.  Because of it they didn't do my surgery until about 3 or 4 in the afternoon.

I had my surgery at UPMC St. Margaret's with Dr. Quinlan.  Excellent experience.  Very supportive and informative.

However, I didn't have UPMC insurance. I have HIghmark PPO Blue.

Dr. Courcoulas is my doctor also and I have UPMC insurance. I am in the last month of my 6 months Lifestyle program. So far so go and hope to have my band in April or May. Dr. C was great and explained a lot to me that I questioned. Magee's program is pretty good. I like it since all my records, logs, and weigh ins are with them so I think it will make insurance approval easier.
