Resumes
I've been told, if the history is all relevant and the length of employment is long, to keep it to one page. Then again, I'm not a spring chicken and all my experience is long and steady with the special projects being the only thing that varied from job to job. I'd say if you have a meaty resume, keep it to 10 years.
As someone who just recently went through this....
10 years max
1 page max plus cover letter plus references (list as "available on request or if filling out a physical or online application and they put in blanks for this info, then list it.)
As far as it being "online" make it up on word or something so you know about how long it is.
Keeping it one page makes you highlight your abilities and hit home the important parts.
Remember to use descriptive and action words that highlight your abilities, special projects etc.
Good luck!

This was a good post to put out there, Shannon - with the way things are these days none of us know if our jobs are safe, so I just pulled my resume up and updated it - it was too long and had too much old info in it. Mine went back to the beginning of time (1974) so I really had some cleaning up to get done.
Thanks to everybody else for the great advice!!
