Anyone going to the NYC Conference

Is anyone from PA going to The NYC 2009 National Gastric-Band Conference?  I am thinking about it.  I think that it is going to be very educational and I am thinking about going. With only being 2 weeks out, I think it is something that I can learn from.  I was just wondering about anyone else.

I was going to go but now that I look at what the cost is going to be, I think I am going to pass on this one.  $139 is not bad for a room but it is $175 for Friday and Saturday night events and $87.50 for my husband for Saturday only.  He would not be able to go to Friday night meet and greet with me.  I think for this price we will prob pass and do something else.  If we do not stay the night, it is $87.50 each plus a $30 fee for something or other.  I think it would be very very educational but I think that it is a rather large fee to pay.
Am I wrong to think that?
