Thank You All

To My Wonderful Friends

 Thanks  for thinking about me on my 2 year surgiversary.  It has been an incredible 2 years: the weight loss, the new tummy, my retirement from Philly School District, all my new travel adventures, and  daily trips to the gym.  I feel healthier now than I have ever felt.    

All of these wonderful life changes are incredible.  You, my friends, have helped make this all possible by the wonderful support, the positive words, the loving kindness and friendship.  I have met so many wonderful people on here and at the many meetings I have attended either at Barix or the homes of our members.  

My lesson to those of you who are new is to stay connected through these boards or better yet by going to meetings and personally getting to know all the fabulous people who have gone on this journey.  It really is critical to continued success to feel the love of those who can truly relate to your experiences.

I didn't post in your anniversary thread, so I'll jump in here to extend my congratulations to you on your fantastic results. I know how hard you work to live a healthy lifestyle, and I'm thrilled to death with how well you're doing. I admire your dedication!


PS - I'm very jealous of your retirement and travel schedule.

Congratulations Arlene! I also missed the original post about your anniversary but wanted to say how much you have helped me thru rough times and how much of an inspiration you have been to me. I know we all struggle at times but being out here for each other really means a lot.

You have had an incredible journey ane while I know our journey is never really over you have seemed to accomplish your hopes and dreams these past two years.

I wish you continued success in your life and on your journey - congratulations!!

Arlene, you are such an incredibly special person and I am so thankful for your friendship -- I really wish we lived closer and got to see each other more often and I hope you know you are consistently in my thoughts.  You have had a fantastic journey so far and I know you will keep on successing every step of the way.  Thank you for being who you are Arlene and for inspiring so many of us.  I hope you had a wonderful, happy day yesterday.  HAPPY 2 YEAR SURGIVERSARY!!!
