Had final pre-op surgeon visit today

Looks like all is set to go,  just one more set of bloodwork for my glucose levels and OFF we go.  I spent about 3 hours at the surgeon office today getting prep/training from his nurse,  physical with his PA , and final consult with Dr. Eid.  I'm pumped!!!

Today is my last day of solid food for a while, I start my 5 day clear liquid diet tomorrow, oh joy. 

I am so excited, but a wee bit of nervousness is starting to creep in the cracks. 

All of those emotions are normal.  Six months from now you will look back to how quickly the time went - and you will be feeling so much better, stronger, energetic, etc.  It's a big step but well worth the effort.

Good for you Dee! I'm excited that you are almost there.  SF popsicles will be your new best friend.  I am hating jello already.. maybe because I am not allowed to have red so  I am getting bored.  Keep a  bottle of something near you  at all times and sip sip sip.. let us know how you are making out!

Good luck with your 5 day liquids. This is exciting.

All that you are experiencing is a part of the roller coaster ride leading up to WLS, so hang tight and you will be on the Loser's Bench soon, living and experiencing life in a way that you haven't in a very long time, if ever!

You are in good hands!!!  That 3 hr visit is a killer - LOL!!!!  But it will all be worth it in the end.....You have my cell # if you need me!!

I know you can get through the next 5 days. 

My doc only requires one day.
