TGIF Rollcall

Happy Friday all - I took a vacation day and have plans to get lots done. Of course I have a little furball who thinks my entire day should consist of playing ball with him - now he's upset because he dropped his tennis ball in his water and it has to dry - trust me, he has others, but of course wants this one. Who needs kids, right?

I've got laundry going, been for a walk, fed the dog and had my breakfast. Now I'm going to head downstairs and finish putting the guest room together and straightening up that area of the house. That really is my husbands domain so I only go down to clean mostly but with his family coming I want to make sure everything is in order.

then its off to do some closet cleaning and a trip to Goodwill, so my vacation day will be full, but then I should have the rest of the weekend to play around and have a good time!

Is it Friday already? That means that I am 4 days post-op! 

Busy day planned  here.. sipping, walking, tooting, burping, rinse  and repeat!  LOL!  I am going to try to head outside to walk a bit today since  it is supposed to be warmer out.  Better get out before it rains, though. I was also  going to try to drive a short distance so I can take my daughter to dance tonight.  I'll see how that goes. 

George.... are you out there?!  I think I am going to take you up on  your offer to pick me up tomorrow.  I think that drive might be a bit too  far  to try so soon.  My daughter may be with me if I cannot find a sitter. Is that okay?    I'm going to send you a PM,  too, to see that you get this.

Uh...rain?  NOOOOOO  I might not be the wicked witch of the west but my hair will melt (IE frizz) if water touches it today after the salon.  The goal is to make it not only look good today, but last until tomorrow night (yea, good luck with this one, Pam)

Can you please tell the rain thanks for the offer, but, it can come another day?

sorry, but the rain didn't  listen..  maybe it did down your way?   I can bring my flat iron with me tomorrow if you'd like and if you are there I can try to touch it up. LOL!!! 


And YES, thanks to George, I WILL BE THERE!! WOO HOO!!!!  So, I will see you all tomorrow! Want me to bring some popsicles and jello? HEE HEE!!

Well when you all get done looking at this one you are gonna pee yourselves.  Since the weather this morning has been co=operative I decided to go out back I have an acre and 1/2 and start cleaning up the yard .  I have 3 dogs, a chow, golden retreived and springer spaniel and guess what I was cleaning up.  Ugh! Gross!  And I am not even half way done but I figured I was going to take advantage and get started.  Ugh! Then I am going to do laundry today as I want to try to make it to Liz's house tomorrow.  I know all of you dog owners can relate to this but its too darn cold to go out during the winter to clean up and unfortunately the stuff is still here in the spring.  So I set up my radio and scooped away,  My husband tells me I found something else I am good at.  Needless to say I pointed the shovel at him and said watch it buster.  Okay now that all of you are laughing I can share the shoulder issue.  I started physical theraphy tuesday and went wednesday and found out there is lots of work ahead.  I guess I won't be riding for awhile.  Heather will be keeping him in shape for me.  I guess I should be glad I don't keep my 2 horses out back huh?  Lisa I hope you can make it to Liz's. Pam you also.  Everybody have a great day and back out to the yard I go, Ugh!

LOL....I have found the rider mower is great for spreading dog poop out across the lawn as fertilizer.  But, I also learned NOT to hit it with the weed wacker....I have gotten dog **** in my mouth before....it's NOT fun! 

I slept late today I needed the sleep but it did put me behind.
I did some chores at home. I am having a hard time doing things around
the house still. I have a lot of pulling and burning going on inside. I can
only determine that it is the muscles pulling. It kind of hurts.

then I am off to work, well I am at work now.
So no big plans.  I hope Jason is awake tonight when I get home,
I miss him
