update on Gene's mom
Thank you all for all the positive thoughts and prayers. Please keep them coming, mom still has a rough road ahead.
Mom is out of surgery. She was in longer than expected. All the hardware is installed in the back, however, doc had to repair a tear at the site where she's been getting her shots in her back for the pain.
She will have to lay flat on her back for the next 48 hours.
They are taking her for a CAT scan prior to taking her to her room to make sure the tear is starting to heal this afternoon. It amazes me that they can do that this soon to see that it's healing, technology is an amazing thing.
She is still in recovery we are not sure when they will bring her out as of yet.
