Need Your help with My Dr, Brader Talk
Nicole, I found a song you might be able to use for your presentation by Bruce Springseen its called Working on a dream and it could be the opening of your presentation. Google him and they show his ablums and this is a new released album with the Boss on the cover with the sky behind him.If you want me to I can fax it to you. It could be your opening and others can talk about what the song can mean to them and their dreams and goals.Just a suggestion,
This surgery has TOTALLY changed ALL of my relationships. Could we talk on the phone or in a chat so I can hone in on exactly what you are looking for? I was (and still continue) to be flabbergasted by the shifts it wreaks in me but ALSO in others and how they feel about me.......oh, and just be you, you're wonderful and that will come through along with your beautiful heart and they will be blessed to be there that night.

My marriage ended post surgery. Mostly because I gained confidence to leave someone who was abusive to me. I loved him dearly but realized I didn't HAVE to tolerate being treated so badly or expose my sons to it.
My best friend was very unsupportive of me having surgery. Made little comments constantly. She thought I should just be happy how I was. However that was over 4 years ago and she is now scheduled for surgery in 2 weeks.
Getting attention from people that you know you wouldn't have before.
People judging you because you took the "easy" way out. (UGH!)
Your relationship with yourself. the surgery is on your stomach, not your head, so all of the same fears, insecurities and habits are still lingering. It doesn' t magically go away beacuse you fit in smaller jeans. Still feeling like you are "fat" when you aren't, etc.
