Western PA Members?

I'm starting to get really jealous of the people that can attend Liz's support group and cooking class.  It's over 5 hours away from me.  Is there anyone near my area that would like to get together?  I'm near Pittsburgh.   So far I've met one person from the board....Abby aka Magenta.  She's a real sweetheart.

I have been on the internet for a gazillion years.. well about 20 and I never felt the need to meet anyone.  Since I've been a member of this board and depended on their support I'd love to meet more people.

I live in Butler.. about 50 minutes north of Pittsburgh!  Maybe we can meet in the middle somewhere for lunch one day?  I know there is at least one other WLS person around here.. met her at Curves!  If I can reach her, maybe between us we can get ahold of others and work something out!

Boo Hoo. I am not eastern or western.................waaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh. I feel very alone here in the middle of the state. I am closer to people in baltimore than to most of you guys! LOL

I live in Brackenridge, that's about 20 minutes from downtown...and I work in SQ Hill so Im in the city everyday.

i too wish i could go to the cooking classes on the other side of the state.  it would be great to carpool maybe, and definitely i like the idea of starting up something here in sw pa.  i live near pgh airport

Diane, I live in Weirton WV about 25 miles south of Pittsburgh.  I agree that we need to get together for support.   I have connected with a few from our class that I'm sure would be interested also
