Wow ! I hope you will be feeling better soon. My son had a siezure disorder from age 3 to about 13 and that is not anything to play with. Did you tell Dr. Steve what happened ? He should be informed so next time he may think twice before cutting some meds .
Hope things work out .

Ok so the nurse in me HAS to say....  Do you know how many people I treat who "stopped taking my blood pressure medication because it was always fine when I checked it" only to have it NOT fine when they got to the hospital....uh....because it was fine BECAUSE of the medications.  You were not having your seizures BECAUSE you were taking your medication.

OK I'll come down off my soap box of nurse crachet now.

I'm glad you, your wife, and your kids are safe.  God forbid you had actually been DRIVING when it happened.  Let alone the kids trying to get out of the car.

I'm soooooo happy you have gotten back on the right track and are making moves to continually improve.  We ALL make mistakes and we all do things we aren't supposed to do and we all don't follow whatever program is laid out for us to follow...the important thing is that we eventually do, hopefully before ourselves or someone else gets hurt by it.

I'm anxiously awaiting the youtube video of sweaty, shirtless Steve pacing around the parking lot like a confused, pasty yeti.

I am with Pam on this.  No one should ever self-diagnose themselves that is why they have those people with medical degrees and training.  I take my hat off to the doctors and nurses we are blessed to know and have. Even as friends we are trully blessed.  I really do appreciate our Pam taking the time to share her wealth of knowledge with us too.  Thank goodness you are going to be okay and the children listened. Feel better Steve and you need to take better care of yourself including bloodwork and follow ups. They are reccommended for your own health and safety.  Take care Steve.
