Good Morning Everyone,
I cannot sleep because I am in agony with an earache. I pray it is fixable. I am sleeping on an icepack because the pain is just too intense.
Anywho, I have my post-op visit with my ENT doc this morning. And then, I hope to get some papers graded. Nothing else exciting going on.
I hope you all are able to get some sleep.

I got SOME sleep last night - Chris was feeling a bit better this morning. I am still exhausted! Don't worry all the house will be bleached and bathed in lysol before the cooking class this weekend!
Today I have another busy day at work - then I have to run to the bank - payday yay!! and i Hope to stop at teh dollar store - nothing too exciting but it is enough to keep me moving!

Good Morning. Today had me going in to work late because I have an appointment this morning. Then it's hope to make dinner, supervise homework, and get clothes rearranged. We are switching dressers around so I have alot to do.

Sheesh Trish, if it ain't one thing, it's another with you, poor girl, hope you feel better soon! I've had an ear ache or two in my life, they are no fun, so painful and nothing seems to help until you get the medicine necessary. . .
Well right now, I have the privlege to be here in the computer room, Dillinger is sitting on his little rug, right next to me, he is making progress, thanks to meds, he is eating, however, now I think he is a bit backed up, as he has had me up throughout the night going out and then coming right back inside. Today I should have the biopsy results, though the vet did make a pretty clear case that it would not be good, whatever, I have my boy right now and if all goes well, I will go back to work on Thursday, I just want to be sure he is eating, going to the bathroom and comfortable before I return to work and thankfully my supervisor and bosses understand that he is much more than a dog to me!
Well since my life has revolved around Dillinger for the last 5 days, can't say I have too much more, oh, yes, my son returns home from Germany on Saturday, his wife has gotten their house unpacked and ready for them all to move back in when he returns (as she has been staying at her parents home), I know he is looking forward to that!

I'm at work today - nothing too exciting there. Stopped by my new favorite store last night - the Christmas Tree Shoppe - if you've never been in one they're amazing - you have to go a few times to realize all the stuff they have in there. Last night I picked up a lovely vanity bench for my bathroom for $25! Hubby has to finish putting it together tonight - couldn't get one of the bars on it myself.
Tonight is dinner and relaxing - was busy last night. I think I'll call my local Curves and make an appt for tomorrow night - go and check it out. Its a good place for old ladies like me!

I have never been to a Christmas Tree Shop, but out in Michigan there is a Christmas superstore called Bronner's. It's huge, like the size of several football fields, and just full of Christmas stuff. It's so big they have a snack bar in the middle of it.

I'm not really sure why they call this store the Christmas Tree Shoppe unless they started out that way and eventually migrated to an everything store - they do always stock up big time for every holiday - right now they're filled with St Pattys and Easter stuff, but they have all sorts of decorative stuff, bedding, furniture, lamps, pictures - I could go on and on - the beautiful part of this for me is that its less than 5 minutes from my house and in tax-free Delaware! Its just a great everything store.
Brommers sounds fantastic - I LOVE Christmas - its my favorite holiday to decorate, although I've been trying to shed some of my decorations - it just takes too long anymore.
I was thrilled with the vanity bench - saw one very similar Sunday at Bed, Bath and Beyond for $60! I'll take $25 over $60 any day...

Good Morning all!
I'm back home and glad to be here! Work was nice and all - but I didn't sleep well yesterday and I'm exhausted. I wanted to try to catch up on the boards and what not (an addict needs her fix don't you know - I was without a computer for almost 36 hours, the horror!) but I dont' think I'll be doing much of that! Just wanted to at least check in with everyone before I take a nice long hot shower and head off to bed.
Funny thing - I made brownies for work (non WLS friendly - didn't have the "goods" with me to do that) and a girl says to me "What kind is this" Now these are made from scratch brownies from a very old betty crocker cookbook so I say "Betty Crocker with Peanut Butter chips" She says "They must be new, I don't remember seeing that kind in the store" So I say no no no....you take chocolate and shortening and eggs and flour....etc etc etc it's a very easy recipie" (which it really is) And what does she say but "Well, not as easy as two eggs and a 1/4 cup of oil!" Uh, no, not THAT easy.....but oy vey! She actually followed that statement with "I didn't know people still did that kind of stuff" I swear, if I was coming to Liz's house on Saturday I would drag her with me and SHOW her what we can do with sf stuff, let alone with regular stuff!!!
Alrighty all...I hope all is well with everyone and hopefully sometime this century I will be able to catch up with you all. I have LVH tonight tomorrow and thursday night followed by a personal training appointment Friday morning followed by a hair appointment Friday afternoon followed by Saturday leaving early for the memorial service and then Saturday evening Brian's bday party, and then back to work Sunday night at LVH. I'm exhausted just thinking about it all!

Oh - PS Trish - I can't help but wonder if the ear ache is due to a back up of fluid from your recent sinus surgery? Perhaps the ENT will be able to let you know and help you with that

It is a very happy Tuesday for me because I'm off today! Yesterday was so long. I worked 12 1/2 hours and then shopped before I came home. I didnt get in till after 7PM. I tried to eat some spaghetti but it came back up. I've noticed that if I wait too long to eat I have to stick to soft foods because I think I'm swallowing too fast.
I only made it up till 10PM and then I passed out as soon as my head hit the pillow. Today I'm going to relax. I'm going to have the house to myself for a little while. Going to take a hot bath and just wear very comfortable clothes today and relax.
Trish I pray things get better for you. You have dealt with enough. It reminds me of that old hee haw song.. If it werent for bad luck...... you'd have no luck at all. I'll be around the house most of the day hun. If you need to talk just give me a call. If I dont answer my cell (I get lousey reception in the house) call the house phone.
