Update on Chris

Thanks all for your prayers and positive thoughts - Chris does infact have the flu - Ugh. Dr told him that he can't go back to wor****il friday - guess this is an extra bad strain. He even had his flu shot this year.

He is still out of it but the fever has come down a great deal.

Now we just have to pray that I don't get sick! lol

Scrub your hands and lysol everything.   You can't avoid him... (well you COULD.....but that wouldn't be nice!) so just try and keep those nasty germs at bay. Hopefully he gets plenty of rest and kicks this thing.

Usually a few days of sleep and being a zombie will do it!

Hope he gets better soon and you avoid it all!

Thanks Jo!! Lysol and bleach are my best friends in situations like this! He was almost comatose when I talked to him last. They gave him Tamiflu and that has made him sleepy (not to mention being out and about for a few hours)

Yikes, the flu is NOOOOO fun.  Sorry he's so sick.  Hopefully the drugs will kick in quickly and he'll be feeling himself by the end of the week.

Liz, I responded on your other post, but I just read now that he actually had his flu shot this year -- ughhh, that is soooo yucky!  I used to get hit with flu multiple times each year that inevitably turned into 2-week long bronchitis every time.  Since I started getting the flu shot, thankfully, I've been ok, but I guess even with the shot, nothing is a guarantee!  Really glad he is feeling better though.
