Grilled Split Lobster with Bouillabaisse Sauce

 

SERVES 4   ACTIVE TIME: 20 min    TOTAL TIME: 20 min 

2   Tbsp Wegmans Basting Oil
2   Tbsp Wegmans Butter, melted
4   West Australian cold-water split lobsters (Seafood Dept), thawed
Salt and pepper
1   pkg (8 oz) Wegmans Seafood Bouillabaisse Sauce, warmed

Add All Ingredients to List

 


Preheat grill on HIGH 10 min.

  1. Blend basting oil and butter in small bowl. Drizzle on lobster meat.
      
  2. Clean grill with wire brush. Using soft cloth, coat grill grate lightly with vegetable oil.
      
  3. Place lobster on grill, shell side down; season with salt and pepper.  Reduce heat to MEDIUM-HIGH.
     
  4. Grill lobster about 15 min, until internal temp reaches 145 degrees; check by inserting thermometer halfway into thickest part of lobster meat.  Serve with warmed sauce.
