4 Ultimate Crab Cakes (Seafood Dept), halved
8 (about 8 oz each) West Australian Cold-Water Split Lobsters, thawed
2 Tbsp Wegmans Basting Oil
2 Tbsp Wegmans Unsalted Butter
1 container (16 oz) Wegmans Lobster Bisque (Market Cafe)
2 Tbsp chopped fresh tarragon
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Place lobsters shell-side down on baking sheet. Stuff each lobster cavity (head area) with 1/2 crab cake. (Don't pack too tightly.)
- Melt basting oil and butter together in small sauce pan. Brush over lobster and stuffing.
- Bake about 15 min or until internal temp reaches 145 degrees. Check by inserting thermometer into thickest part of meat. Transfer to clean serving platter.
- Heat bisque per pkg directions; stir in tarragon. Serve alongside lobster in small dipping bowls.
Chef Tip(s):
To make the meat easier to eat, before cooking, just loosen it by inserting your forefinger between the meat and the shell, then pulling the meat a little bit away from the shell.
