I just read your post to Brian - and you actually got HIM to smile.  Now THAT'S saying something.  And, BTW...he has picked Oct 31.  Yes he loves Halloween and he thought that would be perfect for his bday as well.

Then it's settled.  October 31 is his new birthday!

Brian told his mom...and it toally freaked her out....she was all about "oh no...I'm your mother...I know when you were born" and we just started laughing....and anything that ticks my MIL off makes it even MORE worth it.  I know that's an evil thing to say...but it's true!

No matter how long you know it's coming, you are never quite prepared for a death. Hope you guys and his family are doing alright. I am thinking about you guys.

And sorry about the birthday thing. It must be hard to have such things happen on your birthday every year..........he deserves a day for himself!
