Thank you, thank you and thank you again for all your loving prayers, kind words and positive thoughts, for anyone who doubts it, there is a great deal of power in all of that. . .

This morning the surgeon called, said Dillinger had one arythmia episode last night that was controlled via medication and that he had woken up this morning alert, vocal and very displeased with his surroundings and that they felt he would best be served by recuperating at home.  My guy was at home with me and we made a ramp out of some plywood leftover from the construction and some carpeting for him to get up the stairs if he needed to and then went to pick him up, I got a page of instructions for his care, plus meds and I made a comfy bed for him with an old comforter, on which he is resting comfortably and by the way, he made the stairs without any trouble!

We thank you for your love and whatever time he has left will be had here in the comfort of his home.

With Love, Laureen & Dillinger

OMG that is wonderful news! I kept thinking about him since your first post. I have four fury kids, three dogs and a cat and I don't know how I would have handled that situation. I am so very glad that he is at home with you and showing such good signs of improvement. We will keep praying for you and your boy. Thank you for keeping us all updated on how he is doing and give him a big kiss and a neck scratch from me.

Great news!  I do have one suggestion.  If you have to leave him at any time leave a tshirt of yours with him.  Something you've recently worn with your scent still on it.  Animals are comforted by that just as much as an infant is.
