You sound mighty chipper this morning. How is Dillinger today? Glad to hear his surgery went well.
I slept in a little today. Pain meds and exhaustion have that effect on me. Today, I will be able to drive at lunch time, providing I don't take my painkiller. I hope to get me to a meeting, and then an appointment at a doctor. I also must get to the bank and deposit my check, as my direct deposit will not go into effect until April. Tonight, if I am up to it, I will visit my knitting group for a little while.
I hope everyone has a great day.
Hugs,
Trish

I am a whole lot better today then yesterday, seeing Dillinger made all the difference, it helped allay my fears that I had put him through something because it was what I wanted for him, but his reaction to me, as well as the vet's stating so, made me feel better that I made the right choice and that is why I am indeed chipper today, plus a few hours of real sleep does wonders!
Thanks and take care, hugs, Laureen

Also, you are definitely right. Sleep is sometimes exactly what the doctor ordered. Remember HALT. I can usually keep the H, A, and L in control, but I always push the T too far.
Have a good day.

That being said it is Friday - I am at work - it was treat day for me - stopped at Micky D's for a SF Vanilla Iced Coffee and burrito.
Today I'm treating my co-workers to a pizza lunch to celebrate my one year surgiversary - a little over a year ago I treated them to pizza when I told them I was going to be having WLS - I was very nervous because most of my co-workers are men and I wasn't sure how they would react, but my boss (a woman) told them up front 'no jokes or smart remarks' before I spilled my guts. To my surprise they were all so encouraging and inquisitive, wanting to know what would happen and how, and over the past year they have been so thoughtful and understanding, so I feel they deserve this little celebration.
Tonight I'll be busy baking a sf cake to take to my bff's house this weekend to celebrate her birthday - I even made sf chocolate seashell candy for her beach house - she's doing South Beach with her hubby so they can't have sugar either - works for all of us!
Hope everyone has a good weekend - I'll be out of pocket but back in the saddle on Monday.
