Snowy Wednesday Roll Call
Hi all
Guess I will get this going. Today is payday, of sorts. I will be getting a much needed massage. I will also do some grocery shopping. Weather is not so great so may stay close to home. Tops is calling though lol. That is our "treat" store!

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.
Morning! I'm here with all my jersey friends and it's awesome! We're working with a new doctor tonight - and he's awesome as well!!
Before I leave I have to talk to one of my friends, partially business related partially friendship related. She is in charge of staffing so I need to go over my next availability now that I have my LVH schedule and then I need to see if we are getting together tonight. She wants me to see the new decorations she got for her apartment and we might do dinner. I can sleep till about 5 at my parents house if so (she works until 3:30 anyway) and then we can do dinner by her house and I can hang there until it's time to go back to work.
Not to much else going on today....back to work 11p-7a tonight in Jersey and then the trip back home in the morning. As much as I LOVE working with my friends...I actually work much harder here than at LVH. That's because LVH is a teaching hospital and is much more technologically advanced so there's more hands and more resources...so the nurse really doesn't do the physical work. Where as here....the nurse does most of the work.
Ok...enough rambling. Enjoy your day! Stay safe there! Here in jersey is supposed to be mostly rain so it shouldn't be to bad!

I sure hope it's not going to be much of snowy event here. I actually have a lot to do outside the house today.
-Working 5:30-9:30 today.
-Meeting at 10 at Siehara's school w/ teachers, principal, school psychologist, and I to
discuss behavior plan for dealing with her ADHD.
- go to surgeon's office to replace check that bounced.. ooops
- go to Siehara's psychologist to get determination of what meds we are going to start with
- look for apartments
- pick Siehara up from school
-Home for dinner, then back out to help cook at the synagogue for a dinner we are having
Friday night. (my "last supper" before liquids)
(I'm tired just thinking of what I need to do today. LOL!)
I want to see what is on the menu and how it is being prepared to be sure there is enough I can eat that is on my South Beach plan. If not, then I will eat something before I go and then just go for the social aspect of it.
Last night I went to the support group my surgeon has once a month. He had an Oncologist/ Hematologist there who was pretty informative about "why" we need to take our vitamins and which ones we need. other than that, though, I wasn't real thrilled with the "support". The people who were there only asked a few questions and it seems to be more of an information session for pre-ops than for post-ops. I am a little bit concerned about this going forward. I'll go to the meetings afterward, but think I may need to try to get down to Barix to see what kind of experience I get there.
Well enough rambling, I've wasted too much of my 4 hour work day already.

Good Morning All!!
I am here at work - dragging my butt... I am soooooo tired again today! WE are dog sitting for my uncle who had to go into the hospital for a few days, and well my cats don't like dogs. Buddy (The dog) couldn't care less that the cats are even there - Newman (the cat) on the other hand is on edge - he is walking around all poofed up and growling at the dog - it is pretty funny Buddy is actually scared of Newman!
I should run into Wegman's on my way home tonight, we'll see what the weather is doing. I should also take Buddy for a walk - but that isn't happening if it is raining! I am also going to stain the headboard that Chris built me so he can install it on sunday when he is home.
Have a great day all and drive carefully if you are out in the muck! I must add too that this morning on the way in the sky was clear as anything! Hardly a cloud at all...

I was happy to wake up to a weather report that we aren't going to get too much here. Thank goodness. I am "over" winter weather. LOL
Today has me at work till 3:30. Then off to the hair salon. Johnny got me a gift certificate to get my hair done as part of my valentine's and I am gonna use it! My hair is in need of help and I am in need of a change. I will have to update some pics soon. With a new "do" and and preggo belly, I won't look the same! LOL
Till I get home, our new bed, mattress and boxspring should have been delivered. WOO HOO! So I will be making the bed up with our new bedding set and organzing the room a little since I have it messed up to make room for our BIG bed!
After that, jus****ch some TV and head to bed. Hope everyone has a great day!

I am waiting for my ride to St. Mary's Hospital, where I will be having my sinus surgery soon. I am so relieved to get this overwith.
