I have found a new high!

And this new high is LIFE!  I never dreamed that I would feel this good about myself!  Everyday at work, someone is mentioning how good I am looking.  It is almost overwhelming at times!  I am getting a new self-confidence that has been hidden for years!  No longer will I let people walk all over me because I don't feel that I am worth being happy.  Thanks to Dr. P. and this new lease on life, I am going for the gusto...I am giving myself all of the respect I deserve and have longed for .  And everyone here should be doing the same...we all have been given a wonderful gift....and all of you are wonderful people whom I am glad to have gotten to know!  I hope all of you have a wonderful day!

What a marvelous post - it is so good to hear that you are feeling so great about yourself.
You are right  that we have rcvd a wonderful gift and I try to appreciate it everyday.

I'm right there with you!!  Almost everyday some one compliments me!!  Either to say I look great or even the "wow, you are disappearing right before my eyes"!!  Really makes me feel good too!

It helps that it irritates my manager!!  Because she irritates me!  But I guess there is always going to be someone that tries to shoot you down when you are up!!  She actually looked me dead serious in the eye and said "oh, you think I like being the fattest one in the office?"  WHAT!!  So all the compliments I eat up that much more!!!

We have worked hard and suffered a lot before we got to where we are!!  We deserve EVERY compliment we get!!!  Keep soaking them up!!  Good for you!!
