For everyones' eyes but NORM <3

I just had to share with all of you a few of the surprises I have planned for Norm for tomorrow… He already PROMISED not to read this thread. I believe him <3

So… for breakfast tomorrow, I’m making him chocolate chip-banana pancakes!

How the heck am I making them sugar free you ask?!?!

I found sugar free pancake mix at Giant, no sugar at all! Low carbs, and all you do is add water.

I got a few sugar free chocolate bars made by 50 fifty that I’m going to throw into the food processor.

I bought two bananas that I will slice up into little itty pieces and mix in…

I’m going to make them into heart shapes for him for breakfast… I’m so super excited.

THEN I bought two bars of baker’s chocolate, and I’m going to melt those down in a double boiler, and add splenda and a little bit of fat free creamer.

I also bought these absolutely HUGE strawberries that I’m going to dip in the chocolate to make sugar free chocolate covered strawberries

We’re also going for sushi, and to see Coraline in 3d… it’s going to be such a great day.

Just wanted to share my excitement for a few new recipes I came up with!

I know he’s going to LOVE it!

I found it in the organic section, where they have the gluten-free products...   I can't recall what brand makes it even, but all you do is add water to it!

I'm very excited lol

Sounds like Norm is one lucky man. . .  Enjoy the day!  I'm sure Norm's breakfast and treats will taste scrumptious!

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

Mar, doublecheck your theatre that your Coraline is in 3D, not all theatres are.   We went last week, LOVED it, but found out after we paid and I asked for our glasses that THAT theatre was not 3D.  Turned out ok as my 8yo stepdaughter would have been scared whitless if all those batdogs were flying out at her; my husband and I would have liked the 3D though ;-(

Mary,

Everything sounds wonderful and now I want pancakes too dangit! lol

Normally, John would make me a lovely breakfast for V'day but due to my current cir****tances, everything is on hold  There's just nothing romantic about breakfast in bed ala egg drop soup.

What kind of sushi do you usually get? I've always wanted to try it but I can't bring myself to do it because of the raw fish in it. Do they make like a veggie type sushi?

Hope you guys have a very Happy Valentines Day!

They do make veggie sushi - california rolls, I like the philadelphia rolls, they are cucumber, cream cheese, those artifical crab leg thingies, seaweed and rice -wegmans makes them with brown rice - yummy! Actually wegman's has a ton of really good sushi in smaller containers if you want to try something.

PS - hope you are feeling better!

So the veggie sushi is just a seaweed wrap with rice and veggies then right? Let me ask you this cause I know you won't be a smart ass about it...What does the seaweed actually taste like cause I've heard everything from it has almost no flavor to it tastes like seaweed (hence the smartass comment). I like those artificial crab leg thingys so I would definitely try those. It's the ones with the raw tuna or other fish that freaks me out. I think the closest Wegmans to me is actually down by you so maybe what I'll do is if I come to the cooking class this month then I'll swing by there on the way home and pick some up to try.

ETA: I almost forgot to thank you for the well wishes. I'm doing the best that I can but these attacks or whatever they are, have been happening more frequently as well as becoming much more painful which has me a little concerned but I've already touched base with Braders office about whether or not he needs to see me for a follow up since being discharged and I'm waiting to hear back from them as we type.

SORRY FOR HIJACKING YOUR THREAD MARY!!!!
