This 4 foot tall great Blue Heron was a victim of the winds yesterday. This branch is 25 foot in the air over the McMichaels Creek near Brodheadsville. These great birds fish this pristine creek all the time but I`ve never ever seen anything like this.

That is tragic! You have to wonder what happened though... did he fly into the branch!? poor guy :(

OMG, I've seen these over here by me. They are beautiful! It is so sad to see that this wonderful creature had such a terrible thing happen to it!
