TGI Friday Roll Call
Since I am up at 3:30am, I'd get this going. What is everyone up to on this Friday 13? Not much going on here. Yesterday turned out busier than expected so today, who knows. I am waiting for two good size checks. I have to keep one a secret because I have a hubby who tends to go bonkers when money shows up. I hate doing that. Anyway, wazzzup??
Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.
Good Morning All,
Well it's Friday and I have my b/g/f coming home with me today and we are going to be hanging out with some other g/f's, going to see "He's Not That Into You" and also will be doing some shopping for this old house of mine, as construction is nearing completion for phase 1 and now I need furnishings for the new sunroom, not to mention I need to put 2nd coat of paint in my new bedroom. It's all coming together nicely now.
Anyway, I got to get moving so I can go to work here, looking forward to having Monday off and one extra day to get things done.

I'm in a great mood, and looking forward to the weekend.
Tonight Mary and I are going to see on of our favorite bands at a club in Allentown: Bloodhound Gang!
I did some Valentine shopping last night. I'm very happy with what I found and am excited to give it to Mary.
I've had a great workout and eating week, and I'm going to carry that momentum with me into the weekend.
Tomorrow is sushi dinner out and going to see Coraline in 3D.

Well I was about to start this post about 10 times tonight. But I inadvertently angered the ER gods when at 10:30 I told hubby on the phone "Oh we are soooo good right now! This night is gonna DRAG by....I don't even know what to do with myself" Well....they told me EXACTLY what to do with myself and none of it was fun. LOL
I am ooober busy today.
On the way home I am going grocery shopping. That will take a long time most likely, as Old Mother Hubbard probably has more in her pantry than I do, LOL
Then it's home with all that stuff to put it all away with hubby. I'm assuming by that time it will be somewhere around 10am or later.
After that we are making a very quick trip to jersey as my first check from my "new old" job is waiting for me at the hospital (it's not direct deposit yet) and I could really use it deposited today. Plus I have other checks sitting at my house which need to be deposited and I'd rather only make one trip to the bank. While in jersey, get this, hubby wants to go to a car wash of all places (not that there aren't ten million around....but seeing as though we will be "in the area" he wants to use that one specifically) Then on the way home, will be a trip to the bank (obviously....)
Hopefully on the way home I'll catch a two hour nap....and then it will be shower and dressed humanly (hair and makeup and everything today!) to go out to dinner with hubby. Where? Haven't the foggiest of ideas. And then to the movies. It's our romantic valentines day eve night out to go see the new Jason movie. Have I mentioned I hate these types of movies? Well I do. HOWEVER...I get the last laugh cause he doesn't remember HOW freaked out I get when it's all over and done - and if I have to use the bathroom tonight - you can bet your bottom dollar I am waking his a$$ up to walk me down the dark scary hallway, LOL Actually - I'm looking forward to treating him to this.
If I have time between coming home from jersey, napping, and dinner, I may make sugar cookies for him as well. If not, that will be tomorrow.

I agree with Norm this morning. I am so freaking chipper and am on my second coffee! After getting all the kids off this morning and getting to work, I finally had a chance to finish my first one. LOL.
I work till 3:30. Then have my hematologist appt at 4. After that I have no idea. No kids all weekend. And Johnny just told me last night not to make any plans at all for tonight or tomorrow, because I will be spending it with him. Doing what? Who the hell knows what is up his sleeve but I will go with the flow. He's one of the most "unromantic" guys in the traditional sense. But does other things that are sweet. So we will see.
So I am super excited to have a nice weekend and hope today goes fast. And Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!

Good Morning All! I am not so chipper this morning but I'll try and get there! I got home last night to having no electric - it didn't come back on until after 11pm. I didn't get much sleep as a result, I didn't get much sleep the night before either and I am looking forward to sleeping in late tomorrow! We don't have any big plans for V-day I am going to make a romantic dinner and I got Chris some of his favorite chocolates. We are going to Home Depot to pick out paint for the bedroom and that's about it! He'll probaly work on the basement, he is putting up drywall. I have some curtains to hem and I have to grocery shop - like Pam, my pantry is barren!

Where was everybody this morning? From the looks of my commute it was a major holiday or something! I whizzed up 202 in no time - didn't even come to a screeching halt around 30 and Frazier like I normally do, and I wasn't early or anything - had to stop for gas for my buggy or I would have been pushing it to work!
I'm feeling pretty good this morning, too - 3 day weekend for me. Not much excitement planned for Valentine's Day, tho - hubby and I don't do much other than cards and I have mine already. I think a friend is coming to visit tomorrow - she's had a tough week and could use some time away.
Maybe hubby and I will go out to dinner Sunday night - make that our date night - especially since we're both off on Monday.

TGIF for REAL!! Today has me working and trying to do double work because my internet connection SUCKED yesterday due to the wind. I got absolutely nothing done and I have so much to do. I wor****il 3:30. DD has no school today, so DH is supposed to be taking her up to my dad's for lunch. She told me that she doesn't want to spend any more time alone with him because he was yelling at her last night for who knows what. I think he is letting his frustration with me out on her and we are going to have to do something about that. She didn't do anything wrong. I think we need to let her know what is going on. Maybe that will ease some of the pressure off all of us.
Tonight DD has dance and then we are going to a friend's house for dinner. My friend Sarah even told me that she would make a piece of salmon different for me so it doesn't have all the yummy lacquer sauce that she is putting on everyone elses. That was very sweet of her to think of that when she invited us over. She also checked all the side dishes with me to be sure there would be enough for me to eat. She is the BEST! After dinner, we'll probably all head to the mall, as usual. I may just get a kid size ice cream at Coldstone just to get my "fix" in before the surgery. Maybe not. I'll have to see how my day goes. I haven't tried their sugar free, so maybe I'll do that and be a "good" girl.
Tomorrow has me chanting/singing at synagogue so I need to practice that at some point today, too, so I don't look like a fool.
that's all for now. I really need to work today so I am going to close the laptop and pretend it doesn't exist at least for a few hours.. wish me luck with that. It's going to be hard! LOL!
