Hi Jen

I take 300mg liquid iron daily in small amount of diluted prune juice. But really that darn iron always constipates me

Nursing class says they constipate?   They haven't met me yet.  Iron makes me go and if I stop the iron, I get constipated.

I am eternally anemically constipated, but peri-colace and fiber-stat really helpout.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.

I hate iron. I get constipated just thinking about them.

I have taken it since day one and it has never bothered me either way.

I assume you need to start iron supplements?

Increase the fluids, maybe increase to two servings of your beans and broccoli a day...and if needed you could use colace or something like that as needed (I personally prefer peri colace as to the regular colace...the regular colace doesn't seem to touch me most times)

I'll be hoping for the best for you and your bowels!
