Windy Thursday Roll Call
Hey yal, I am at work and am heading home. I hope to get some sleep and then get up and teach my class. Then relax and head back to work. I dont have much more than that planned today. Which is good I have had a busy week.
The PS appt went well, he feels I am healing well and right on target. I can stop wearing the binder and sports bra now. He says the swelling will be slow to go away.
It will be many months before I see how this all works out. so far it looks good.
There are lots of little annoyances with it but I am getting through them ok.
So Rise and Shine everyone! Dont blow away we are supposed to gets some storms.
What does Randall Say RIse and shine it is time to spray those pits and eat some grits LOL
Good Morning Nicole! Glad you are healing decently....I know you don't have to (or want to) wear the binder...but do you think that would help control the swelling? I hope you get to see results soon!
I haven't thought about randall in quite some time - thanks for the smile. I hope he's doing well.
Today on the way home I'm stopping and picking up Bri's parents anniversary card. Once home I'll have some dinner which I'm excited about, actually, cause I made some awesome looking chicken parm and can't wait to try some.
Speaking of which....I'll be leaving brian reheating directions for the chicken parm (the boy is clueless in the kitchen) as his parents are coming over tonight after I leave for work to watch some movies with him, and it is their anniversary - so they can have a nice chicken parm dinner when they come over.
I also have to do the mundane tasks such as mail and kitty litter and stuff like that - but then it will be in bed by hopefully 10...but probably 11 because that's the time I've been falling asleep lately. Back to work 7-7 tonight and then off for two days.
Have a great day - and if it is as windy as Nicole says it's gonna be....hold on....some of you may blow away with all the weight you've lost!

Good Morning All!! It is super windy out there! I just hope that the power doesn't go out. I am here at wor****il 4. HArdly slept at all last night so I don't have any plans after work other then making dinner and heading to bed early! I also managed to hurt my lower back - feels over extended or something - I'll call the chiropractor and see if maybe she can see me this afternoon.

Hiya folks.
Giant Eagle was without power lastnight so we had to put tags up in the dark. Lots of fun there. They spent $5,000 on dry ice because the power company said power would not be back on til midnight tonight. I knew that was a mistake. They pulled everything and put it on dry ice and then at 5AM power came back on. We started to put things back and I ran out of there as fast as I could when my shift was over. Didn't feel like staying over.
School has a 2 hour delay and I'm heading back to bed a few hours and listen to the wind. Have a great day!

Holy crap is it windy out there.. All we did was walk up to the bus stop and I have an all new hairdo! LOL!
Today has me working until 3:30.. have a call with a mentor during the day to go over a case that I did. I also have to go over some of my old cases on my own to check for errors and fix a few that I made mistakes on in the past. I have a lot to get done before I go out next Friday. I'm going to try to keep this laptop closed so I can get work done for the next few days.
After work, I am going to check out an apartment. I saw 2 yesterday that have potential, but I am still looking to see if I can find something less expensive with similar amenities. Then it's off to bingo! Jackpot is up to $525 this week, I think. I could use that toward my security deposit!! Wish me luck!

Good morning everybody - was off yesterday and didn't check the boards but I'm back at work today. Had my bloodwork done in the morning for my one year follow-up with Dr Boe next week, and yesterday afternoon I met with my nutritionist - it was sort of a sad meeting - she's leaving the hospital where I've been going to see her - I started seeing her when I was going through all my insurance requirements and I just love her - anyway, she's going to be opening her own practice so I'll be watching for that and if I have to pay her out of pocket I will - she has been such a source of inspiration and encouragement for me that I can't imagine continuing my journey without her.
The good news was I had actually lost 15 lbs since my last appt with her in November - and she was pleased with that - 5 lbs a month at this stage is good, and I'm feeling good, bloodwork is good, hair is all grown back in and I haven't had any major problems.
Today finds me at work - nothing special there. Not sure I'll walk at lunch - if its still as windy I doubt I will, but I'll work out tonight.

Good morning everybody.
I'm landing at my desk, with coffee brewing in the background.
Mary and I had a productive evening of wedding planning last night, and called it an early night. I slept pretty irregularly, and was in no mood to haul my carcass out of bed this morning. But I did. Obviously.
But one bowl of fiber cereal, a healthy morning constitutional, and an intense treadmill workout later, I'm ready to take on the day!
It's windy as heck around here too, and it was raining a little bit this morning as well.

Glad to hear that you are healing well, I have to say I am just a wee bit jealous of everyone having their plastics, as I don't have the kind of insurance that will pay for it and since my 401k has bled, along with the rest of the world's, I don't have the resources to draw off of for plastics now, oh well, I'm just going to keep envisioning a winning lotto jackpot, it doesn't have to be the biggest prize, just enough to pay for my plastics and share a little with my family and friends, as they say in lotto circles, a $ and a dream is what you need and I play in a pool with a co-worker and an attorney, so I'll keep the dream going. . .
Windy, oh my, my Corolla was blowing all over the road this morning as I drove up 295 to the Hamilton train station, I took my time and mostly stayed behind a truck to help with some of the wind, but it was scary watching the big 18 wheeler blowing all over too, as well as being blown around myself. . . well obviously I made it here to work safe and sound and hopefully this evening will be a little less windy.
Last night I had a nice visit with my DIL and 2 youngest grandchildren, it is really nice having them close to home again and they just melt my heart with the way they respond to me and their names for me, Vaughn who is 3 now, still calls me Grandma Burr and Avery, who is 18 months old, and doesn't say her r's very well calls me Guy, Guy Boo, it's just too funny. . .
Well today I am, obviously here at work, after work I will be picking up a good friend of mine, *****lapsed and got a DUI and lost his license for 7 months, to go to our Thr night AA meeting and then the day will be over and tomorrow is the much awaited Friday, yay!!!

I was up bright and early. but headed to my ultrasound before work. Baby Jantzen is growing great. He is about 2 lbs 12 ozs right now. that is is the normal range so I am so happy. He was way below size last time.
Now I am at work till 5. Then home to make dinner and give my kiddos thier Valentines since they will be with thier dad this weekend. After that, just hanging out and spending the evening together.
