Thanks to the Barix Support Group leaders for a really great Saturday meeting. As part of the pre-op group, I came away with a lot of new insights....well done, folks!  If anybody is wondering if it's "worth" a full Saturday afternoon, let me say YES!

I agree it was a great meeting, every day I learn something more, and going to support group meeting educates me more and more....one thing I brought out of sat. meeting which was great was that if you are going to drink  (wine, etc.) it takes away three days of your bodies work you did arleady to loose weight....wow.....so your kinda defeating your purpose....a temporary good feeling (wine) and three days lost to your goal weight.....and another thing I came away with that w need to strive everyday like it was our first......never forget where we came from and where we are now.......on the winning side........we have another chance with wls to do it this time and take full advantage of our tool that wls gave us....I am encourgaged  to take full advantange...when...today....and each day that I am grateful enough to be alive......thank you Barix support group leaders.....

Thank You,
Thank You
Thank You Lynn.
All of us leaders work really hard to make this day worthwhile for Everyone, but that includes ourselves too. We all get so much more out of this than we give and that is what keeps us working, really volunteering, for the good. 1st Saturdays are very good and we will continue to work for that good. Hey, don't those 4 hours go really quick?

I'm bummed I couldnt make it yesterday. My family was in from Florida and I was hosting a sleepover.

Hopefully I'll have better luck for March's meeting!
