***Saturday Roll Call***

Well good morning all!!  I think the weather is supposed to start warming up today, no?  In fact, even walking into work last night I noticed I wasn't as bone chilled as I generally am.

Today I don't have a whole lot planned.  I ended up doing a few little things around the house yesterday...so today I just need to pack up some food for work...do the litter boxes....all that fun stuff.  Hopefully I'll get to see Brian....and then it's off to bed to be back in work tonight.

Wish I could say something exciting for the weekend...but alas...I cannot.  :)

Enjoy your day, all!

Pam

Hey there Pam and everyone,

Well, can't sleep....laid in bed from 2am till 3am so I figured I get up and waste time on the computer.

As for this weekend - today is school.  Finished last term last week so this week are two new classes - International Business Management and Strategic Management.  We could not find a babysitter for tonight so we'll not be attending Karen's bash at Michaels - drats!  School always presents a challenge with eating 6 small meals and the "snack" we get after lunch is always junk food - so I'm going to prepare for that and, maybe, bring a couple Chobans or something.  Don't think I'll exercise today - my legs are still sore from running on the treadmill on Thursday.  Plus, by the time school finishes and I make it home it's late and I like to spend some family time - be it doing laundry, having dinner, cleaning the kitchen, painting the basement  (a project that never seems to end) or watching/playing with the baby.

Sunday - well, doing brunch with a buddy from school and then we're taking our families to the Please Touch Museum.  His daughter is 2+ and mine is now +14months.  Sounds like it's a cool place.  My wife wanted to go this past Wednesday (apparently it's on sale on Wednesday evenings) however that was the snow day and they just ended up coming home.

Have a great weekend everyone!

lol - a lot of posting in a few hours perhaps.  I'm afraid that sleep is no longer an option....i'd "normally" get up in 30 minutes from now.  I actually get up earlier for school than I do for work, partially because school feeds me before class starts at 8am :).  I can stomach their version of scrambled eggs and if I'm lucky they have ham and not bacon . . .  it's when they have only pancakes or french toast that I'm screwed :)

Morning!

It's been a sick ward in my house.  Last person got sick yesterday.  Hopefully after he gets finished with the flu it will leave my house.  I feel like I should put a huge quarantine sign on my door.

I have to work today from 5AM-1:30PM in receiving.  I really wish I didnt have to because my department is behind since I missed work yesterday.  I did manage to go in for 4 hours last night.

I dont have much planned besides work.  I'm going to come home and relax.  I'm still pretty run down from the flu.  Hope everyone has a great day!

It's definately a nasty bug going around and there's also a nasty upper respiratory thing going around too.

Once people are starting to feel a tad bit better might I suggest stripping all the linen cleaning everything really well...opening ALL the windows in the house, bundling everyone up and getting outside for awhile.  My mom used to that......and although it's an "old fashioned" remidied - I swear - it makes the house feel so much better - otherwise I just feel like all the germs are still all around.  Either that, I'm crazy....(the latter is probably true, by the way...)

Glad you are feeling better!

LOL!  We call that airing out the stink!  I remember my mom doing it and I've done it ever since.  I'm a big believer inthat!

Pam - I am definately doing this this weekend! today I had a killer sinus migraine - I am getting ready for an early night - going to lay in bed and watch TV until I fall asleep. Tomorrow I am washing everything that moves! lol

Hello!

Not alot today.  Going to recycling, oooooooh lol.  With my wrist hurting, it is hard to do much but need to finish cleaning the bathroom.  The rest of the day will come as it will.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Well hello all. I know that it is almost 4 in the afternoon, but I thought I'd post anyway.  This morning my daughter and I went to breakfast and then to synagogue.  After synagogue we went shopping for the supplies she needs for tonight's sleepover with her friends.  She is having 2 or 3 girls come to do makeovers, nails, cornflake diving---don't know, don't ask. :)  movies...

we rented a few movies after the grocery store.  Now she is upstairs vacuuming and cleaning her room while I get on and read the posts.  If a few friends over is all it takes to get her to clean, she can have people over every weekend!!! the simple things to get a 10 year old to do something productive. LOL!

Tonight, I hope to get some sleep, although I"m sure it won't be much with the girls giggling most of the night.  Tomorrow we have nothing planned except catching up on sleep from tonight.
