Back from my 2 year follow up

ALright - I have to admit, I left Dr BRader's office on cloud nine! First of all I love that man. His entire staff is amazing! I Got there over an hour early and hardly waited at all! I am down (according to their scale) 132 pounds (135 on mine), I have gotten to a BMI of 30 and am only considered "overweight"!!!! Kristen, the nutritionist told me that I am right on track, jus****ch my "bad" carbs. Greg, the exercise guy gave me some tips to get it done. (And told me that I had a muscular calf - whoda thunk it? lol) AND what I thought was the best news of all - he told me that I have the thumbs up from him to have a baby! I figured I would but wanted to clear it with him first. They were all happy with my progress how far I have come.

Thanks again to all of you for your wonderful support as always!

Congrats to you!! What a fantastic visit with your doctor.  You have been a great example for many here-I for one as I am just in the beginning stages of my new life post surgery. Thanks for all your wonderful recipes, helping to get  people back to the basics, and our cooking classes sound fun.  Maybe one of these days I'll take a rosd trip to join the fun!

That's fantastic Liz! I know you haven't been feeling very well lately so I'm sure this helped to cheer you up a lot and make you feel better. I saw Dr Brader at the PA Pilgrimage and just from listening to him I could tell he was very special.

Congrats on the go-ahead for the family, too! There may be a baby-boom on the boards soon!! (You and Pam - NOT me!).

LOL!! Thanks so much! Dr Brader told me that he expects that I won't come alone to my 3 year follow up! lol I had to laugh! This is our first month of really trying - then we will take a break next month (don't want to be delivering for Christmas...) then we'll start back up again. He also told me he wants pictures sent out!  I also would have to go see them at 20 weeks pregnant just to make sure that I am not deficient in anything.

Thanks all for the lovely words and encouragement!
