I am still around

Hey everyone.  I have been on and off the boards for a while now.  Lately, it has been health related.  I have had a sinus infection, forever it feels like, at least since October.  I am finally scheduled for surgery on them in two weeks.  I had this same surgery 12 years ago, and it actually was more painful than the darn WLS.  Or, as I told one of my sons, maybe the drugs are better with WLS.

Anywho, I am just glad to be near the end of this most awful journey of my health.  The headaches, fevers, and ugly, disgusting, smelly drainage will soon be gone.

Prayers and hugs will be most welcome, to be sure.

Love and hugs,
Trish

Trish,

I am definately glad to see you posting and for your updates.

I've had sinus surgery before - and it's definately not fun.  I remember the worst part for me was taking out the packing they left in me for 24 hours...which was like two tampons stuck up my nose which had then adhered themselves to my nasal area with dried blood.  Not fun.  Sorry to be so gross.

Anyhow - Nicole is right - we always have thoughts and prayers going out to you and I hope you know that.

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!
