Well as some of you may know or remembera few weeks ago I annouced that I would be testing for my second degree black belt.  I'm hear to say that I passed with flying colors and recieved quite a few compliments from the high ranks sitting on the testing board..  I don't think that I've shared this with the group but I'm aso going to school part time for exercise physiology. I want to be a certified strenght and conditioning specialist when I grow up and work with young athletes. Middle school age and help them get on the right path and to avoid the short cuts. (steroids).  Anyway I made the DEans list for part time students. I have a 4.0.  Not bad for someone that failed out of college the first time around.

Anyway that's my news I just wanted to share. I hope everyone is doing well.

Congrats to you. Sounds like you have things all together. And I have a soft spot for you wanting to help kids with weight. My middle-school aged son is slightly overweight but deals with alot of ridicule at school. It affects him greatly at times. So kudos for seeing what an issue that is in young kids' lives.

Best of luck with everything..........

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Mike thats terriffic! I have three words I use alot repeat after me LIFE IS GOOD. thats really great. at first you don't suceed try and try again. Glad to see someone is doing that. I so wish you the best. I'll tell you something crazy here.  Someone close to me was hooked on drugs and I saw them thru their recovery and actually thought about becoming a drug counselor but when I found out how much education was involved I chickened out and then I also thought about how sometimes I wished I didn't . Congrads on the Dean's list and the average.

Way to go Mike!  2nd degree black belt is quite an accomplishment.
I am a karate Mom, so I understand the work that you put in!
My little man is a red belt.  He is 7 and loves karate.

I just started taking kickboxing classes with his master.  Last night was the first class.
I am sore, but in a good way, you know?

Exercise Physiology is a great field to get into.  where do you go to school?

Right now I go to Montgomery County Community College. I plan on finishing there and transfering to West Chester.

You'll be sore for the first couple of weeks. then once you  body gets used to it  and you're not sore he'll either up the intensity or add some new variarions to existing moves and it starts all over again.
