Hair
I just wanted to share this story. This is the first winter in my whole life that when I go out into the cold cruel world my head is cold. I have always had a thick head of hair. I know I'm whining but its cold out there. So I have made sure either I have a hoodie or hat. Its cold out there everyone . I wanna move to a warm place!
This has been one of the coldest winters I can ever remember, but I've also lost that other person I've been toting around for the past 30 years, so I think thats why I've been so cold - plus my hair is just starting to come back in (thankfully!) but I find myself wearing hats, scarves, gloves, hoods, whatever I can find - especially when I walk the dog. My family thinks I'm crazy because I was always the hot one.
Have you had your surgery? I see by your member date that you just joined but from your pics it certainly looks like you had your surgery because you're not a big person.
I have had other friends complaining about the cold tho, too - seems like its never going to end.

Hello. Yes had it july 7th 2008 at Langhorne Pa Barix Clinic Dr. Pupkova. I am going to do my profile soon I promise I just had tech support in order to put my pictures on I know everybody was wondering if I really existed so I did the pictures. I had the rny done I started at 246 and down 163. What a journey. Well worth it. I am also doing the gloves, hat and hoods and sweatshirts. My favorite bedtime outfit is flannel pjs and electric blanket and a down comforter. My husband thinks I am nuts but guess what? I am a warm nut. Wait til summer we'll be yiping about the heat.
OK - that makes more sense! Congratulations on such a fantastic journey - you've done wonderfully!! Yeah, weird being cold all the time - can't wait for the heat because you know we're not going to sweat like we used to - we'll probably welcome it! I went to Bermuda in October on a cruise and it was in the high 70's most of the time and even with a lot of activity and walking and all I was very comfortable. All those extra pounds really make a different....
We did it last year for the first time and beleive it or not you your are so pumped up to do it that you do not even feel the cold. It was somethign my Aunt had always wanted to do so my cousins and me did it with her and had a blast.
We will do again this year but I am also half a person smaller so am worried how cold it will get but I am not worried I havea a good teddy bear waitng for me on the beach this year whenI come out of the water.
Also thanks about the donation but you just pay an entry fee and it goes to teh township for summer events in Sea Isle not really a charity donation.

I hope you have a great time and make sure the teddy bear is right there when you come out of the water. I thought it was a charity thing because someone had told me that there is a club that also does it and its for charity. Well Beth have fun and like I said you are a brave woman for doing this. You have a sense of adventure. I ride horses you polar swim.
