dr. marymor

I just got an email from Barix's, stating that dr. Marymor is no longer with them anymore. I'm crushed, as I was very happy to have had him as my surgeon. Has anyone heard where he is setting up practice?

There was a thread a few weeks ago that he was gone from Barix - sounded like hospital politics or something but nobody was sure why - a couple of people did say that he was going to be contacting his patients to let them know where he'll be. I hope he does, because I know how attached we get to our surgeons, and I would be devastated if Dr Boe left Barix and I couldn't find him.

I'm sure you'll get quite a few responses to this, and maybe some better answers than I was able to provide.

Yeah, that pretty much explains it.  He will be notifying everyone when he is settled... wherever that may be... and patients will have the option of following him or being reassigned a new doctor at Barix.

Hopefully we'll hear something soon. ;-)

I got the same email. I called to schedule my 1 year post op and was told I'd have to see Dr. Boe and they can't get me in until April 1st. I'm sad. I hope I hear from Dr. Marymor and maybe going to his new practice will be an option.
