OT- babies

I was reading the local paper online and saw this and thought I had to post it.  I really need to get over the "stress" of having one child and put myself into this woman's shoes for 5 minutes.  14 kids!?!!?   This is not the Duggars, but I wonder what kind of background they have.

According to what I heard on the radio this morning this is an unwed mother who already had 6 children (a set of twins and 4 others) and the octuplets were the product of a fertility drug. She lives at home in a 3 bedroom house with her parents. I'm sorry, but that is just insane, ridiculous and irresponsible, and the doctor who gave this woman fertility drugs needs to have his/her medical license revoked - who is paying for all this?? Right - we are. 

yeah I don't feel bad for her... the doc put in 8 eggs... and she got 8 babies... I think she did this on purpose to become the new jon and kate + 8... and kate is just crazy anyways lol...

I did see in this article that she lives at home.. did not realize that she is unwed.

WTF??!?!

I was upset by this article because I have so many friends that can not have children and here is this unwed mother with 6 children already now having 8 more and lives at home with her parents. Curious as others have said who will be paying for these children???

I feel bad for the children in cases like this...

I did not know she was an unwed mother. 
Where did she get the money for this treatment?
As I understand it - it is very expensive and sadly many couples who
want a child can not afford it.

in but I really think that is insane

I had seen the article - personally I don't think it matters if she's unwed - but the fact of the matter is she lives with her parents which I believe to mean she doesn't even have a father figure in her life - and this is simply ridiculous.  I don't have kids like Nicole said so I have very little room to speak...but jimminey christmas...I don't agree with any of this at all.  What is she AND her parents thinking???  I mean...after you allow your daughter to move in with six kids....where do you, and HOW do you draw the line?

And yes, like others have said, I have friends who have tried so hard to get pregnant with no luck and stuff like this infuriates me.
