Caregiving is good for your health!
Is it a female thing or what??? Since my hubby started on Weigh****chers, Monday night, I have been cooking much healthier meals for both of us! What, was I not worth doing this for?? Sheeeeeeeesh!
Anyhow, I am feeling a bit better, but still not back at the gym. I pushed myself to do a few other things over the past couple days, trying to get my energy up without increasing pain anywhere. I'd like to try the gym tomorrow...I guess two acute asthma attacks in one week just took all my energy!

lisa i can relate. We as women seem to do for others first. I harrass the hell out of jason to get him on a MEAL PLAN of some kind to help him, but really because I want to be and it helps me too. I should just say the hell with him and do my own thing rather than fight with him about it. If you know my jason at all he is not easily moved to do things he is not interested in . My time would be much easier spent just doing the food plan I want to do without his participation. Not sure if this makes sense.
I hope you feel better soon and get the asthma under control

I hear ya, Lisa. Mine is a horrible finickey eater - no veggies, no fruit...mostly meat and potatoes and anything with fat and sugar is fine by him. And I feel "guilty" if I don't give him that stuff when I do cook. I have revamped some recipies - but truth be told - I tend to make stuff I shouldn't have - or make one "main dish" like burgers and then sides for "him" which I end up picking at when I shouldnt' anyway.
Good for you for helping hubby out - perhaps you can both help each other out at this, extra support is always a good thing!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
