***Frigid Friday Roll Call***
Hey all,
Today is my one year.
I remember driving to and sitting in the waiting room at Barix, early morn, terrified, talking to my stepdad about how I want to live in Ireland because I like Irish men, to try and get my mind off whether I was going to die that day or not. I remember when the nurse gave me those lil socks to put on your feet, I was so heavy that I could not put them on my feet. I remember telling Dr. Marymor I was scared and he told me he was, too. I woke up from surgery around dinnertime. I said to the nurse that I don't feel much different, and she told me "don't worry, he did it". lol. Called my ex husband and my daughters, he asked me if it was worth it and I said, "I'll tell you when I am in the front row to see Bon Jovi". haha! Dennis and Pam came to see me in the hospital, and I will never forget how wonderful they were and how good they made me feel. One year later, I have lost 187 pounds, happier than I have ever been, and truly amazed, joyful, humbled, and thankful. There are so many things I can do now, it's an entirely different life for me. My life has changed so much in this year, when I think about it, it takes my breath away. If you are out there reading this, Dr. Marymor, much love and thanks to you. I'm speechless. I love everyone here, you are a wonderful group of friends and an awesome source of support.

Happy Happy Surgiversary! Did I see you the day of your surgery or the day after? Sheesh - and you were the one all hopped up on morphine, not me! You would think I would remember that....
Anyway - what a fantastic year you've had and to many more!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
Good Morning Pam and PA,
I overslept terribly today, had to run my sister's dog to the day camp at PetSmart, and call work to let them know of my lateness. My whole day is off now.
Today has me at work, with the hormonal adolescents, and then to pick up the dog. After that, I head home to clean. Tomorrow is my older son's 31st birthday and we are having a pizza party. I will also get in a meeting as well.
I am not doing too well, physically or emotionally this week. I am still battling the sinus infection since October, and I see the ENT on Tuesday.
Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
