Thursday Roll Call

KAthy - I had been battling this for the last few days too - I was just blaming it on residuals from my stomach bug last week. The intestinal cramps actually woke me up to run to the bathroom the other night! Felt like fat dumping but I hadn't had any!

thanks Liz - yeah, if I hadn't known better this morning I would have sworn I was dumping on something and I know our systems change but I've never had a problem with milk since my surgery. Now I feel sort of 'gaggy' - you know, like something is sitting at the base of my throat or something. Maybe I'll have some oatmeal later.

Just got the boys out the door to school (2 hour delay, they were off yesterday).  The roads are horrible still...DH couldn't make it up our hill last night until we put some more weight/bodies in the car).  Light flurries ontop of the ice now, but hopefully the salt will start working today.  I'm filing today at home, again (piles of papers...my least favorite job, I'm overly organized with everything else but the papers...sigh).

Hello all.. it's 9:05am and my husband just took my daughter up to the bus since she had a  2 hour delay.. TG Bethlehem also had a delay so the bus will come for her...or at least it should.  If not, he will drive her to school. 

I am working until 3:30 today and have to go over a case that I worked on with my mentor this morning.  Later today, I have my yearly review with my boss.  It should be good, but since I have a new boss  since mine got laid off, I am a little nervous about how she handles things.  

Tonight, I plan to make steak for dinner.  I won them at a meat raffle and want to truly enjoy it now before I have the surgery and would only be able to eat a small portion of it.  After dinner, I plan to go to bingo unless they cancel it due to the ice.  I hope they don't.  I didn't go last week  since I've been fighting this cold and I really want to get out with my friends.  

I spoke to Patti at the surgeon's office yesterday  and she said everything has been sent to insurance and she is hoping to hear something by tomorrow. Cross your fingers  for me please.  I have done everything  I need to do and just need the OK from insurance for 2/23 to really happen.   Once I get the ok from them, I will call disability services at work to start the paperwork for my absence!!

I can't say I have anything exciting going on today.  Work..then right to my sparring class.  Then...home to soothe my aching body LOL

Oh well...some day I will have something more exciting to report.
