recalled peanut butter protein bars

Hey all I was just reading an article from MSN.com and it said that Clif and Luna bars have been recalled - they have the chance of having salmonella from the protein -might want to check the list if you have any of these! They say that peanut butter in a jar is safe - it was just the commercially sold stuff to make products that is contaminated.

The 13-year old son of my 2nd shift supervisor ended up at Children's Hospital this weekend with salmonella from the peanut butter in Austin peanut butter crackers.  Poor thing was in intense pain for hours, along with violent vomiting.  Nasty, nasty stuff.  Please be careful everyone.

oh boy! hope that he is doing better now!!

I am throwing out my jar of peanut butter too - can't take any chances! I'll stick with the PB2 until this all passes!
