Fitness Thread 1-12-09 through 1-18-09
It's Wednesday and I have done some sort of exercise every day this week!!! YAY ME!! Today I bought a new DVD at Target. Dance Off the Inches Hip Hop Party. My daughter helped me pick it out. I wanted to find something that we would both like and have fun with. I did the instructional portion to try to learn the steps..that was about 15 minutes and then I did the 1st hip hop routine which was another 20 or so minutes.. it was fun, I think mostly because I was trying to figure out what the hell she was doing... my daughter was laughing at me too from her perch on the sofa. She didn't want to do it with me because she had gym class today and that was enough exercise for one day. LOL!!!!!!!!
I thought I would shoot this back up to the top of the boards this morning...it seems to be slipping farther and farther down as the week goes on.
As for all my promises of exercise this week...I did nothing! Evening meetings and illness have kept me out of the gym and karate classes. Depending on how I am feeling by tonight, I may get to the gym for a short workout and I am hoping to make it to my karate class tomorrow. Talk about being a lazy, doughyass, slugg!!
