When I had my preop physical at the barix Clinic, they made me get off the pill for the month before surgery. This is because the pill can increase your chance of blood clots forming, even though I never had any problems. This may or may not become an issue for you, please discuss this at your doctors visit.

Chris, thanks for the info.. I will definitely let him know the reason that I need it and see what he says about the pill...  Appreciate the advice!!

Chris, thanks again for the info.. When I went in to talk  to him yesterday, he mentioned the pill.  He asked me if I smoked or had high blood pressure and when I said no, then he said that the pill would be good.  I mentioned the surgery and what you said about clots and he said that is  true if there is high blood pressure, smoking, or high  cholesterol... well since he didn't ask about high cholesterol, I didn't tell him originally.. I did mention it when he said that and he said that he would prefer that we either abstain (fine with me)  or use  condoms...

Well I got both kids off to school today---although they weren't happy campers :)

today I have to go to 2 banks, pay some bills and then I want to come home and play with my Wii Fit. I got it yesterday as my Christmas gift to myself.

I have to do some organizing and cleaning out my fathers room because my uncle called last night (12AM!) to say he's coming to visit from AZ the weekend of February 6th.

Hello all!  This morning I got up at 4 so I could be at the gym around 5 for some cardio before going to work at 7.  Then I wor****il 5:30 and hope the weather isn't that bad to drive.  After that I go home to make dinner, prep lunch for tomorrow and do the laundry I didn't do yesterday.....

Good morning everybody,

This morning I took Connor into school late because we had to pick up his glasses.  We found out that his left eye wasn't really doing any of the work and the right eye was doing it all.  If he hadn't gotten glasses when he did, he could have had permanent damage.  So he was a bit fussy about having to wear them, but I kept telling him over and over that he looked very handsome, not nerdy at all.  He has to wear them while doing schoolwork and playing games and watching TV.  So we'll see how his day goes.  If one person says anything bad to him about it, that will be the end of it.

Right now I'm checking things out online and then have to -- I STRESS "have to" get two jobs transcribed before I leave for my job today.  I turned in my paperwork for jobs turned in to get paid and these two jobs were on there.  Well, I didn't turn them in yet!!!  So I have got to get them in today.

Then I will be off to Allentown this afternoon for a job at 4:00.  I hear the weather is not supposed to be so good...so I'm not looking forward to icky weather, especially traveling an hour and 10 mnutes.  I'll have to check it out online to know what to really expect.
